Welcome to the configuration documentation for Tectite FormMail.
Currently, Tectite FormMail is the only free FormMail script that's
mature, stable, free of security vulnerabilities and under constant
enhancement. You can read the complete version history of Tectite FormMail.
To our knowledge, Tectite FormMail is the only form processor that protects
from spam in three ways:
- It protects the web by not having security or injection vulnerabilities.
- It protects you by protecting your email address from spambots
and other email harvesters.
- It protects you by detecting spammer activity and blocking it
immediately.
Tectite FormMail is comprehensive in its features and, therefore, that means
there's a lot of documentation.
Getting Started
If you're a new user, you can get running quickly by using the

You only need the configuration documentation here if you
want to use more features or need to overcome limitations or idiosyncrasies
of your server.
Alternatively, if you prefer to setup FormMail manually (without using the
Wizard), check out
Terry Allen's Guide.
