Send e-mail and also update database?

Can FormMail be used to send an e-mail message and also update a MySQL database every time a form is submitted? If so, are the instructions documented anywhere?

Hi,

Yes, FormMail can do this. In fact, our TectiteCRM uses a MySQL database and the interoperation of FormMail with TectiteCRM is pretty straightforward and documented in the TectiteCRM help.

To update other MySQL databases, you need to write some PHP code and use the new hook system.
