installed and configured formmail.php very quickly and easily which was very impressive, but am now stuck trying to figure a way to get my Submit button in my pdf form to submit the pdf as an attachment to the email. Is this even possible?

Hi,

This is a question about the tool you've used to create the PDF form.

I think the question really is: how do you tell the Acrobat or the PDF form to submit itself as a file upload?

The answer to which, I don't know.

FormMail is targetted at HTML forms not PDF forms, so my knowledge of PDF forms is very limited.

The tool i'm using to make the PDF Form is Adobe LifeCycle Designer. Once you define a button as a 'Submit' button, you then have a few format options: XML, XDP, PDF, and HTTP Post. I'm trying to use PDF which is the most convenient for us, but all I can enter is an URL to submit to. It mostly works, Formmail redirects me to my success page after its sent and i get an email but its empty with no pdf.

I'm thinking this might be possible if i assign some javascript to the submit button instead. I'll post back if i get it to work.

Have you ever gotten this to work?
