Can the csv file be attached to an email?

Hi there

Is there a way to attach the CSV file generated by FormMail to the email that is sent? In other words, if an applicant fills in the form for a recruitment website and attaches a document aswell, the data that is filled in is generated into a .csv file if it is configured to. But can I get FormMail to attach the CSV file that is generated to the email that is sent, aswell? Therefore the recipients will recieve the attached document and the generated CSV file as an attachement too.

Is there anyway of doing this?

Hi,

Yes and no.

The CSV feature is only for writing to a file on the server.

But, you can use the PlainTemplate feature to create a CSV file and then attach that using the "null" filter with the attachment specified in the "filter_options".

You'll find several posts about doing this on the forums. "Search" is your friend.
