Dreamweaver problems

Have just succeeded, after losing a vast amount of hair, to install Formmail & get it to work. My error lay in editing & uploading my .php file with dreamweaver, which was corrupting the file. I solved the problem by opening the original file, editing with Notepad, saving to my local site & then uploading through DW. I only realised this problem when reading Terry Allen's guide. Can I therefore suggest that an appropriate warning be included in the setup instructions in the .php file.

I've used dreamweaver for years to change formmail and never had a problem with it
