How do you configure a Thank You page for mail sent successfully?

Hello:

This is my first post after configuring FormMail. I have the error page working completely on my site's html template, except for the return url, back to the contact form (contact.html). This is the only feature for which the guides I found were inadequate, and it explains why so many are having this problem.
Can you guys direct me to a full and clear explanation on how to do it?

Regarding the Thank You page, I finally got it working thanks to Terry Allen's guide. It has the proper code to add in the form page to connect to a mail sent/thankyou page. I was surprised that's all it took.

I use a template to tell the user thankyou, and to give them a chance to print the information they just input on the form. If your form doesn't intake that much info, you might not need the template.

I tried your form. You may want to check the image refresh button, as it didn't work for me. It's something I'd like to add to my form if you do get it working.

By using...

is it enought to add that in the form page, just like using good_url, or does it need anything else elsewhere?

Also, do you have return link working on your error page?

I know the image refresh does not work in FF...I do not know, I read else where from Russel that thier new sample autorespond form is FF compatible, but not for me...yet that is...I am working on it.

re the template, you have to create the template and put it in your template folder. (there is a good sample template in downloads) or read http://www.tectite.com/vbforums/showthread.php?t=104
then that code in the form tells the form to direct the results to the feedback template

on the return link...no...have never gotten it to work though I have read everything on the site about it......

ok, cool, I started one as well, but no one has responded, maybe if enough of us....

I also fixed the image renew button...it also works in FF...not sure how I did, but you are welcome to copy the code in my page

Hey, it does work. I just tried it. But why did you place a limit on the number of reloads?
If you can, would you please post everything one needs to do in order to add image refresh? I'm sure many members will brobably like to have it also. I know I do; I'd like to give it a try when I get back tonight.

first download the image verification software

and follow the instructions to make sure it works on your server (I had to call ours and ask them to install the GD module)

if it works, download the autorespond form and configure it for your server

once you get the sample to work, you can copy and paste the parts you need into your form....and....you can always refer to mine....I know that if I have a working example, I can usually get mine to work as well

Actually, I'm just very interested in how to add the image refresher. The additional features are nice, but I don't really need them.

the function in the script is called in the underlined code below to refresh the image...but it all has to work together with the autorespond, the image file and the submit button, that's why I suggest you get the sample to work and then incorporate it into your form....well anyway that's what works for me
