Windows and IIS no recipients error

i have looked thru the FAQ"s and tried to set permissions accordingly ( http://www.tectite.com/vbforums/faq....q_formmail_iis ) but i do not have an IIS_WPG in the permissions list. my test alert works and i get error mssgs.

error mssg rcvd everytime i try to use sample form:

The following error occurred in FormMail :
no_valid_recipients

Error=The form has an internal error - no valid recipients were specified.


Please help me

I don't know anything about IIS_WPG, but have you specified the recipient in the form? You need to have this field in your form:

<input type="hidden" name="recipients" value="you@youraddress.com">

After you get that to work, you can use some of formmail's advanced features to hide the email address.

Thx for your input Ginger. yes i have the recipients field in my form. I have actually gotten this to work. i just went through the wizard again and this time instead of choosing a server type i chose "i don't know" and it worked fine. also i don't know if this makes a difference or not but the server i am using uses a "plesk" framework. maybe this info will help someone else.
