Hi,
Can you forward a copy of the bad email to be at supportstaff AT tectite DOT com?
Welcome to the Tectite Forums! You can download and get support for our free PHP FormMail (form processor) and other free software.
I've created a form that sends the results in an e-mail using a HTML template. I'm having a problem with the format of the e-mail output. The beginning of the e-mail looks fine up until a certain point. The problem I'm having is that I'm losing some of the formatting from my HTML template. Example; a heading doesn't center and the value for the field that follows it runs into the heading (should be on the next line). The only thing I can think of is that the problem seems to occur right after my first multiple line entry field on my form. Does formmail support multiple line entry fields with HTML templates? Do you have any ideas on how I can fix this problem? I am using the latest version of formmail (version 4.08). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just sent it.
Hi,
OK. So where does it go wrong?

It goes wrong where the heading "Department Report" starts. That should be centered on the form. From that point forward it's all left justified. There's proabably something wrong with my template but, I can't figure it out. When I open the template itself in IE 6.0 it looks like the email that is sent. When I preview the template in Frontpage 2000 it looks correct. I don't get it. Hope you can help.
Hi,
What I can see is that the template has all the HTML tags (e.g. "tr") in lower case and the email you sent me has them in upper case.
That suggests to me that the template you think you're using isn't the one that's actually being used.

Hi,
If the previous post doesn't help, please add my email address to your form and $TARGET_EMAIL and perform an acutal submission so I can see the unadulterated email.
