    Default email change

I appreciate the job you guys are doing. I got my formail up and going and have been using it for some time and it really improves my site, www.ckdoublenecks.com . Just lately my email address changed and, of course, now I need to adjust my formail parameters to reflect the change in the email address. I edited my files to reflect the change and the good/bad form comes back ok but the form is not sent to me. Can I not just change the email address in the files or must I reconfigure the formail?
Thanks in advance for your response.

    Hi,

It depends on what you set for TARGET_EMAIL and what your new email address is.

But, generally, you will need to reconfigure FormMail when you change email addresses.

The best way is to use the new Reconfiguration Wizard:
    http://www.tectite.com/wizards/fmconf.php

This lets you upload your current FormMail and answer a few questions to reconfigure it.

It's not free to use, but it will save you time and prevent you from making errors (just answer the questions carefully).

I paid the 14.95, went thru the procedure, downloaded my formail.php, tested the sample forms, got a congratulations, went back to MY DOCUMENTS and there are no zip files there. what now?

    Hi,

After the testing phase there's another step.

Click the Next button to access the download.

    Hi again,

The testing appears in a popup-window.

Back in your main browser window is your Configuration Wizard process.

    There's a Back and a Next button.

    I hope that helps.

    Hi again,

Another idea if you're having problems is to skip the testing part.

You don't have to test the forms, and if you just click the Next button you'll go straight to the download.
