Still CC and BCC problems

Hi,

formmail works fine with the recipients field filled by only one email address, a comma separated second address is ignored.

Also if the CC address points to the same domain than the recipient address I only got one submitted form.

All domains are listed in the $TARGET_EMAIL array and I do not get any error message.

Any hints?

Hi,

It sounds like a server problem. This is probably more likely if the server is Windows.

You can do some testing with the test scripts here: http://www.tectite.com/vbforums/showthread.php?t=62

In the $ADDR setting, try listing more than one email address and see what result you get (comma separated).

I can also send you a test script which will try your CC field too.

If you're getting the same problem with the test scripts, please let me know the server type and the PHP version. I might be able to make some more suggestions.

I tried the testmail script and have exactly the same behaviour. My ISP runs Apache/1.3.31 (Unix) on SunOS and PHP version 4.3.9

I also tries testmail2.php but got the error message: "Mail function FAILED with -f parameter"

This is OK. It simply means your mail server doesn't want that option specified.

That's a problem. I recommend you ask your ISP why the simple testmail script doesn't work.

They should be able to give you a clear and simple answer.

It would certainly seem that there's a problem in their PHP configuration or the implementation of their mail server.
