Hi,
You can easily use VerifyImg with other PHP scripts.
The script just has to start a session and compare the entered field with the value passed in a session variable from VerifyImg.
Welcome to the Tectite Forums! You can download and get support for our free PHP FormMail (form processor) and other free software.
I have an application with a form that has the potential to get hit by bots and other automated signup scripts.
I want to secure it with image verification, but I'm not sure if the script you developed can be used with other applications or with your FormMail only.
Is it easily integrated with other scripts (cgi), for example signup submissions for user accounts?

Russell,
Thanks for the quick response. Let me ask you this, is it possible to integrate the use of VerifyImg with CGI scripts?
Hi,
You would have to modify VerifyImg to write the image data to a file and then load that file into the CGI script.
That's why it's easier to work with a PHP script (which can be CGI).

Thanks for the quick reply.
Yeah, unfortunately the script involved is CGI and not PHP. Is this a modification I could have someone do easily or would it be too complicated?
Is it something you could do for a fee?
Hi,
Yes, it shouldn't be too hard to do....what's the CGI script and what is it written in?
Yes, we can do it for a small fee.
