Default Font color the error results.

    Hi there,

Though this is my first message/topic on the forum, I've been using the formmail for some time now.
At this point I'm stuck with something very simple and it's the last point in the process for our client.

I've made some fields "required" and when they forget to fill in the fields they get an error message:
Error you've forgot to fill in the following fields:
    Name
    Email
    Date
    etc.

My question, I've managed to give the error text a "white" color but where can I give the "Name, Email, Date, etc." an color? So these aren't standard black. I can't seem to find the code..

    Can anybody help me out?

so, u need to create an HTML page template that shows the errors.

u can read bout this and download a sample error page:
    http://www.tectite.com/fmhowto/adverror.php

    template:
    http://www.tectite.com/vbforums/show...for-you-to-use

    on that page, you'll have:
    HTML Code:
    [fmerroritemlist /]
    just style it:
    HTML Code:
    <ul style="color:red;">
    [fmerroritemlist /]
    </ul>

    Goodmorning!

    Thanks for the quick reply.
Although I don't think that's what I mean, perhaps I'm explaining it wrong.

I've uploaded an screenshot regarding the problem.
    1. Here's what I find [fmerroritemlist /] but I don't know where to put the color code. It gives me an error in Dreamweaver.

    Kind regards,

    a few things....

don't change teh PHP code unless u really know wot ur doing.

don't use DW on PHP code - some versions corrupt the code without warning.

u need to read the documentation about creating an error template - theres a sample u can download

the changes u want are HTML code and they go in the HTML error template.

Question Re: Font color the error results.

    Olaa,

Thanks! I've managed to make make an errorurl, badurl and a goodurl.
In this case I could make HTML adjustments which is nice

The next and final step is to make a multiple pages form.
At http://belgie.schipholmagazines.nl you see the form I've made but it's to long, so I've downloaded your multipages document and trying to get it to work at: http://belgie.schipholmagazines.nl/test2/multitest.htm

But I think it isn't working, everytime I get an error on the screen and in my email saying:
The following error occurred in FormMail :
    not_valid_url
    **********
Error=Return URL "http://belgie.schipholmagazines.nl/test2/formmail.php" is not valid

I've uploaded the files in the .zip file which can be downloaded at "http://belgie.schipholmagazines.nl/test2/test2.zip", perhaps you can directly see what I'm doing wrong?

Any help will be much appreciated! I would very much want to figure this out.

    Kind regards,
    Stefan (from the Netherlands)
