Formmail suddenly stopped working

Hi Russel,

I have had great success for many months, but in the last couple days, the form has mysteriously stopped working. I was using 8.29 and updated to 8.30 (thinking perhaps I needed to in order to fix the issue), but this did not work.

I wonder if perhaps something happened on my server.

Yes, I think something's been changed on your server (such as an update to PHP) and that's broken the mail sending.

I can sort this out for you, but I'll need to access your server to diagnose it properly.

Me again

Seems something has again happened on my server... PHP change again. I am uncertain what you actually did to correct the issue last time, but I guess that would be the place to start.

My server login info is unchanged, but let me know if u need me to resubmit.

Hi,

Problem fixed. Yes, I think your hosting provider changed something on the server, but I think the fault was actually in your HTML.

You had:

<form action="http://eyesonafrica.net/formmail.php" ....

and that's a different website. What you needed was:

<form action="http://www.eyesonafrica.net/formmail.php" ....

I've tested and it seems to be OK now.

Please check it and let me know.
