    Default Auto Response without verifyimg.php

I would like to use auto response with FormMail but i am unable to use the verifyimg.php script as my web server does not support images.

Is it possible to use auto response without verifyimg? I have tried adding the autorepond field to my form on its own and this doesn't seem to work.

    Please can anyone help

    Thank you

If there are any experienced FormMail users who could answer this question then i would be grateful of your expertise!?

    Hi,

No, verifyimg.php requires the GD feature in PHP.

There's just no way to draw images without that feature.

Unfortunately I am unable to upgrade PHP as the website in question is on a shared server, I was hoping there might be some way to use auto response without any verification?

I’m aware of the risk from spam and I have already used the good template feature to give some feedback but a requirement of the project im working on is that an email receipt is to be sent to all visitors that make an enquiry.

    Pete,

There are other scripts (which are poor in comparison) that will allow you to do this but as russellr has said many times before ... this is not a good idea when your server is on the internet. Google Jack's Formmail script and pray no one uses your box as a spam gateway.
