TestMail.php fails, but I get the email

I ran a test with Testmail.php. When it loads it says it failed, but I get the email

I tested with testmail2. That one failed, no email recieved.

I also tested formmail.php?testalert=1. The message says it failed, but I got the email.

Any idea why this might be happening. Any information I can take with to my host to fix it would be great.

I stand corrected. Testmail.php and testmail2.php both send the email but give me an error message.

I had my email entered wrong for testmail2.php, which is why I wasn't recieving it before.

When I send my form it says it errors out. But I still get the email it also shows the HTML template that I setup as well. It does not, on the other hand, redirect my viewers to good_url. What would cause it to think it is failing when it doesnt? Can I just shut off the error message?

Sorry to keep posting after myself. But I got some more information.

I set -f to true. It fails, I get email and my template works

I called my host. They aren't finding any errors in their logs.

Again, Sorry to post yet again after myself. I just shut off the error posting by going to line 9552 and removing the ! before SendResults.

I tried figuring out what that did but I got really lost . If there is a better way to get around it I am all ears. Till then I at least got it to work

What version of PHP do you have?

If I was you, I'd show the hosting provider the first test script and simply ask them why it's getting a failure in the "mail" function.

The only solution of any use is to have this problem properly fixed by the hosting provider.

I will call them tomorrow. I called them today, but I don't think he quite understood that was wrong. Which surprises me this local company is usually up to date on most things.

The test script is very simple. So, it's very easy to understand what's happening.

Hosting provider support staff should be able to work with it.
