View Full Version : BER decode error

Hello, I have followed the FormMail Decoder Help and looked through these forums, but don't seem to find any answers to the error I am receiving.
(BTW great Software so far!)

I have uploaded the proper key and fmecoder onto a directory on my server. I am using an html template (http://www.morningstarmediagroup.com/wesley-willows/temp/temp.html) and using these fileds on my form:

<input type="hidden" name="filter_fields" value="last_name,first_name,middle_name,email,Street,city,state,zipcode,home_phone,work_phone,other_phone,ssn"/>
<input type="hidden" name="filter_options" value="Attach=data.fmencoded" />
<input type="hidden" name="filter" value="encode" />

The form reports an error and shows my "bad" html file then sends me this message in an email:

The following error occurred in FormMail:
*****/home/kellyg/websites/www.morningstarmediagroup.com/html/wesley-willows/extra/cgi-bin/fmencoder: encryption process failed: BER decode error
Error=The form has an internal error - filter failed

Any suggestions?
Much Appreciated

I've replied by email too. I think you're uploading the wrong file (not a file containing just the public key).
