    Question setting up FormMail on GoDaddy... Help!!!

    Hi All,

    I am at my wits end... I have been fighting the install of FormMail.pl on a domain that I have through goDaddy.com for days and their support is of no help. Here is what I have done and where it stands:
    1. I have uploaded FormMail.pl to my /cgi folder.
    2. I have set the permissions to 755 and also tried 711.
    3. The settings in the perl file are as follows:
    Code:
     $mailprog = '/usr/lib/sendmail -i -t';
     @referers = ('http://www.{mydomain}.com', '{myDomainIP}');
    The web page is basic to start:
    Code:
    The test web page consists of the following:
    <form action="/cgi/FormMail.pl" method=POST name="form1" id="form1">
    <input type=hidden name="recipient"
    value="{myName@myDomain.com}">
    <input type=hidden name="required"
    value="{myName@mydomain.com}, {realName}">

    <b>Your name: </b><br><br>
    <input type=text name="realname">

    <b>Your e-mail address:</b><br>
    <input type=text name="email">

    <b>Enter your comment or question:</b><br>
    <textarea name="note" rows=15 cols=50></textarea><br>

    <p> <input type="submit" value="Submit"><br>

    </form>
    After pressing submit I get the following 500 internal error:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, support@supportwebsite.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Please help me....

    If you are using perl you are in the wrong forum. This formmail is PHP.

    I think you will be glad you did. If I had my morning coffee before the last post I would have suggested you try it.
