Do I need the FormMail Computation Module?

Help! I'm trying to determine if I need the Computation Module. I'd like to use FormMail for a simple online form that is sending information to a user. Nothing fancy, but the information should be secured. What exactly IS the Computation Module? What would it allow me to accomplish?

Actually the computation module, as the name indicates, is primarily for doing calculation and preforming typical IF,THEN type statements. What you need to assist with security is to implement the ini file feature. You can read about it here:

Depending in what you are looking to send the user, you may also need to implement Captcha module.
