    Default derived field %if question

    I wonder if I can make a derived field such that if field2 is blank then derivedfield=12345 and if field2 is not blank then derived field=field1-field2.

    The following does not work, but I'm guessing I can't add a literal between fields conditionally. I can get 12345 6789 and that's good enough, but I'm curious if I can do what I really want to do, e.g. 12345 or 12345-5678 (zip or zip+4).

    <input type="hidden" name="derive_fields"
    value="r_zip = %if(r_zip4; r_zip5 ;rzip_5 + r_zip4)%" />

    Default Re: derived field %if question

    derive the "rzip_5 + r_zip4" into another field then use that other field in the if
