    Default Formmail not working in folders down from public_html? Cms Questions

    HTML Code:
    <form name="request" method="post" action="{X_SITEURL}modules/mymodule/formmail.php">
        <input type="hidden" name="multi_start" value="1" />
        <input type="hidden" name="bad_url" value="{X_SITEURL}modules/mymodule/fmbadhandler.php" />
        <input type="hidden" name="bad_template" value="{X_SITEURL}modules/mymodule/templates/multierror.htm" />
        <input type="hidden" name="this_form" value="{X_SITEURL}" />
        <input type="hidden" name="fmcompute1" value="import function FMUserError;
               import string dosomething;
               export string next_form;
               next_form = bla.html" />
    I am trying to get formmail working in my fav content management system.
    I keep getting errors like this one.

    The following error occurred in FormMail :
    not_valid_url
    **********
    Error=Return URL "http://www.mysite.com/modules/mymodule/formmail.php" is not valid

    Hum

    Can formmail.php run a couple of folders down?

    I have looked and looked but cannot seem to find whats wrong. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Tia
    Regards
    Billy

    Test alert is not working either.

    mysite.com/modules/mymodule/fmbadhandler.php?testalert=1

    Form Error

    Your form submission failed due to the following reason:

    Your form submission has failed due to an error on our server.

    Our staff have been alerted to the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience.

    I keep wondering if it has something to do with...

    $SET_REAL_DOCUMENT_ROOT = ""; // overrides the value set by SetRealDocumentRoot function

    //
    // override $REAL_DOCUMENT_ROOT from the $SET_REAL_DOCUMENT_ROOT value (if any)

    Anyway here is the error that fmbadhandler.php gives me when trying to process the next step in multi.

    Form Error

    Put your custom text here.

    Here is the full error message:
    Your form submission has failed due to an error on our server.

    The basic error message is: Your form submission has failed due to an error on our server.

    This is a SYSTEM error!

    I do not need a start form aka multitest.htm. I want the first fields to be displayed on the front of my site. So in a nutshell mysite.com/index.php holds the first step in the form. The form is save as a custom html block and when you view source it looks exactly the same as it would in an .htm file.

    I set up a sampleform.htm from inside modules/mymodule/sampleform.htm and it works fine.

    I have another complete example of a stock multiform working fine on another domain as a standalone. Errors, mail everything is fine.

    I have missed something in my config and its something stupid. So I thought maybe a fresh pair of eyes might help.

    Thanks

    I do not receive the standard alerts like this one from my default install.

    This is a test alert message
    Loaded language is English (builtin)
    PHP version is 5.2.6
    FormMail version is 8.11
    Server type: non-Windows

    DOCUMENT_ROOT: /home/mysite/public_html
    SCRIPT_FILENAME: /home/mysite/public_html/formmail.php
    PATH_TRANSLATED: -not set-
    REAL_DOCUMENT_ROOT: /home/mysite/public_html

    So could it really be related to Doc_Root?

    Never mind...

    But for anyone else including myself...

    /* Help: http://www.tectite.com/fmdoc/target_urls.php */
    $TARGET_URLS = array(
    "http://www.yoursite.com/",
    "http://yoursite.com/");

    I knew it was something I missed.

    I will make a nice tut/doc for everyone using multi, advance templates & fmcompute.

    Direct from the docs

    http://www.tectite.com/fmdoc/target_urls.php

    The following example allows one URL. NOTE: the trailing '/' is important for security! It prevents attackers from specifying port numbers.

    $TARGET_URLS = array("http://www.yourhost.com/")

    The following example specifies a number of URLs.

    $TARGET_URLS = array( "http://www.yourhost.com/",
    "http://www.someotherhost.com/",
    "http://www.specialplace.com:81/");

    So just to make sure this is clear don't forget the /
