    Default Passing a variable

    Hello,

    I have gone brain dead.

I'm trying to replace the existing form software to get rid of all the spam.

The existing form script passes a variable through to the email.

Each link on the site that points to the contact page is like this:

    domain.com/contactus.php?id=somepagename

Inside the email that is sent is the "somepagename" variable. This is to see where people come from on the site, to see which pages generate the query.

How can I do that with this script?

    Hi,

Your PHP script called "contactus.php" must already do something with that URL parameter.

Without looking at the script, I cannot tell.

The simplest thing to do, to make sure it gets through on your form, is to set the subject field value.

Something like this should work well for you:
    HTML Code:
    <input type="hidden" name="subject" value="Contact via <?php echo $_GET["id"]; ?>" />
BTW, this is really a PHP question rather than something about Tectite FormMail.

    Anyway, I hope that helps.
