Default Problem with finding host root.

    Hello, there.

I was looking at the docs about REAL_DOC_ROOT.

What happens if the root my hosting provider gives is /home/myname/html_public/ or something like this crap, instead of just /? Because i think my form isnt working because in the action="" i dont know the root.

This is the url at the bad_page redirect.

I looked at the code for bad_template, and this_form and im kind of lost. Kinda going crazy lol.

Advice and opinions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

More specifically, this is the error that returns:

Strict Standards: Non-static method FieldManager::IsEmpty() should not be called statically in /home/blabla/formmail.php on line 4761

You can re-upload source code or contact hosting provider to have support

    Hi, thanks for the reply.

I updated the form to v9.06. Now it does not show the errors, but still goes to the bad_url and no email.

What's different about this hosting plan is that it uses cPanel, and I don't see a php.ini file, but the server has latest php version.

Also, I tried a simple mail() script and some tutorial about cgiemail, with no result.

I can go around it by pointing the action="" to a different host with this formmail.php and work.

Well, advise would be much appreciated, but I will go to my host and see what they can do.

    Thanks
