Default Form tells user that email addresses dont match

I have a condition in my formmail that email addresses must match. I have never had a problem until now.

The following error occurred in FormMail :
    failed_conditions
Error=This form required some values that you did not seem to provide.
    Email addresses do not match
Please answer the math challenge correctly

    email: wrgtrbook@yahoo.com
    realname: Jane Hender

    configuration: 'multiple'
    NAME: 'Jane Hender'
    EMAILADDR: 'wrgtrbook@yahoo.com'
    EMAILADDR2: 'wrgtrbook@yahoo.com'
    REGARDS: 'Other'
    MESSAGE: '(her message here)'
    MATH: '9'

    Referring page was http://www.wolfdogrescue.net/forms/pam.htm
    SERVER_NAME was http://www.wolfdogrescue.net
    REQUEST_URI was /forms/formmail.php
This person tried again, same info, and was met with that same error. They tried one more time and it took the email addresses, although the only thing they changed was putting their email in the name field as well. They tried a 4th time entering the info they had originally, and were AGAIN told that the emails didn't match! I don't know about you guys, but I fail to see how these email addresses don't match. As a test, I copied and pasted her info into the form myself and I didn't have a problem. So my question is, how is this possible? They match!

EDIT: I think I may have found the culprit.. It seems a space either before or after an email address will trip the "doesn't match" error, but in the actual alert message that formmail sends me, formmail deletes those extra spaces, making the email addresses appear to match perfectly.
