Test formail in a local server

Hi all,
Found Formail.php. What a program!
My question: is it possible to install, configure and use
formail.php on my local server (I'm using Wampserver)?
Reason being I just want to test before I actually use
bandwidth. (not that I care, it's just a hassle that
I personally would rather try on my local machine first).

Yes, it is possible. We do this internally for testing purposes.

But, it depends on the services your local server provides.

Can it send email and has PHP been configured to send email?

If so, it's no different from a server connected to the internet.
