    Default Can't receive form submissions, help!

    Hello all! I am having trouble receiving form submissions. You can find my form here. http://www.clazzydesignsweddings.com/contact2.html I have configured Tectite FormMail according to this guide. http://www.tectite.com/terry_allen_g...ent/index.html I have been able to use the security test, and received the results just fine. I have tried both my form and the sample form included with the download for FormMail. Both return the error... "no_recipients ********** Error=The form has an internal error - no actions or recipients were specified." Out of curiosity I turned on DB_SEE_INPUT, and it does appear that the recipient is being passed along. I am using Host Gator, is it a config issue with PHP perhaps? I don't see what could be wrong. :/

    Hi,

    First of all, the field name is "recipients" with an "s", not "recipient".

    Secondly, you need to set $TARGET_EMAIL in the script:

    Thanks for that find on my form ginger23, it's been fixed.

    I really wish the fix were that easy, but the first thing I did per Terry Alan's guide was set $TARGET_EMAIL. It's currently set to $TARGET_EMAIL = array(EMAIL_NAME."^anthony\.patrizi@gmail\.com$");. The sampleform.htm I have up and had recipients properly spelled in still gave me the same error.

    Both items need to be fixed for it to work.

    $TARGET_EMAIL should be:

    Code:
    $TARGET_EMAIL = array("^anthony\.patrizi@gmail\.com$");

    Correct, but that doesn't explain why I'm still getting the same error message on my contact form (which was incorrect, but now fixed) and the sample contact form (which was correct from the start). If you read up a little farther, the first thing I did when I started testing was to set $TARGET_EMAIL to be $TARGET_EMAIL = array(EMAIL_NAME."^anthony\.patrizi@gmail\.com$");.

    Hi,

    Are you saying that you changed $TARGET_EMAIL to the setting I showed and it still doesn't work? I know that you put a value in that setting, but it's incorrect and won't work as you have it. The EMAIL_NAME variable is used when you want to allow any address at a domain ... and even if you did want that, it's still incorrectly written.

    Study the examples on the lower half of this page to compare what you have and how it should be:
