Default Template fail - "no wrapper"

I set up a plain text template called "info.txt" as follows:

The following information has been sent from the Sencon web site -
    Product: $Product
    Email: $email
    Name: $realname
    Position: $JobTitle
    Company: $Company
    Country: $Country
    Telephone: $Tel
    Address: $Address
Send me more information: $More Info
    Send me a quotation: $Quote
Call me about this product: $Call Me
    ------------------------------------------
This data was entered using web form: $webform

I saved it into a folder called "fmtemplates" in the root of our site and modified formmail.php as per instructions, but I got the following error message:

"failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found"

I have no idea what this means and I can't find any reference to "wrapper" on this site. Anbody able to help.

    Thanks in advance

If you do a search of the forum for this error message you'll find lots of posts.

Are you using $TEMPLATEURL or $TEMPLATEDIR?

If $TEMPLATEDIR, make sure that you're using the correct server path, which you can find by running testalert. If you're using $TEMPLATEURL, try using $TEMPLATEDIR.

    Thanks very much.

It's working fine now with the proper path to the templates - html now, using the TEMPLATEDIR flag in the script so I can nominate different templates on different forms.
