Default No response on sending form

    Hi.

I have various websites. I have successfully installed FormMail on one site, with Captcha, and all is well. A second site, however, is proving problematical. On completing the form, (whether or not Captcha is required) I just get a blank window, with formmail.php named in the url window, no success page, no failure page, no form mailed, and no alert sent to me.

I have checked everything I can think of, found a few errors, rechecked, rechecked and rechecked and I cannot find any mistakes.

    The form is at http://www.christchurchsingers.org/absences_new.shtml

The only two significant differences between the way the two sites operate is that the second (inop) one prefills a couple of fields on the form from cookies, and also has various display:none fields that are only shown if the user needs to enter more data.

    Can anyone help please?

An update - on my first website I originally created the form handle as formmail-mp.php

After getting it working, I changed the file name to formmail.php, and changed the line in the form's action statement.

Now I find it doesn't work.

Change the filename back to ...-mp.php and put that BACK in the action statement in the shtml, and it works again.

    What am I missing?

ur host is blocking scripts with the name "formmail.php"

u need to name ur script something different. i'd leave "formmail" right out of the name. e.g. "bensmail.php"

the world is full of stupid hosts.
