Default Encode then attach as text but in csv format.

I have FM working wonderfully right now. Currently it attaches a CSV file to the email in a format defined by my PlainTemplate.txt.

I am trying out Encoder/Decoder now, and I can get it to encode fine and decode fine. What I can't figure out is how to encode the data in the same format as my PlainTemplate.txt dictates. It always gets decoded in the standard 1-column, "field name: field input" format. I need it in my CSV format of "field name, field name, field name (line break) field input, field input, field input".

Any ideas? Am I missing something easy?

    Hi,

    Check this document: http://www.tectite.com/fmhowto/filters.php
Look for the heading "Typical FormMailEncoder Usage".

From what you've described, I think you want item #3 in that list.

If that doesn't help, please post back.

I tried that and it didn't work...

Then I realized it didn't work because I was using a sample form so the field names didn't match my template.

    So now it works wonderfully.

    Thanks!
