php validation

Hey,

I am building a one page check out system for 600mg.com and originally set it up using formmail but have always needed it all to be on one page. The client is pushing for it now and I need some help. Mainly with formmail validation and php hooks im guessing...

What I need it to do is capture all the customers billing, shipping and payment info(especially a credit card) Validate it and and then i guess php hook into the merchant account script. This was my problem before because the payment gateway wanted the form action to be there script, but I needed it to be formmail so I could collect the info and validate it before submission.

Willing to pay for support , but if anyone has any ideas on how to get started greatly appreciated

Hi,

FormMail's standard features (such as "conditions") can validate the information being submitted. You might need the Computation Module if the validation is particularly complex and cannot be handled with "conditions".

If the merchant script can be called with a simple URL and GET parameters, then that should be easy too, with the Computation Module. However, if the merchant script needs POST method, then you'll need additional PHP code Hooked into FormMail's processing.

I have already purchased the computation module. It works good. but go ahead and get me a quote and Ill run it by my client. If not ill purchase the support subscription to get the help i need to get it going.
