    Default Redirect problems

I'm able to redirect to another file but the problem arises when the html thank you file appears. I looked in the page source and there are line breaks after every line. The code I used for redirect was:

    $aMessages[MSG_THANKS_PAGE] = file_get_contents('http://www.website.com/thankyou.html');

    Has anyone had this problem?

Hi, sorry for the post. I found the answer with: <input type="hidden" name="good_url" value="http://www.website.com/thankyou.html" />

    Thanks for the great app!

This seems to be what I'm looking for but I'm a bit noobish...

I want to redirect to my own thankyou.html or just add a link back to homepage following successful send mail.

    What should I put where?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Please read the HOW TO guide: http://www.tectite.com/fmhowto/redir.php

Or, you can use the Configuration Wizard to convert your form and add the redirect automatically: http://www.tectite.com/wizards/choose.php

Thank you for the link, I'll definitely check the How-TO guide and hope I'll figure it out.
    Have a good day!

Hi, newbie here. I just discovered tectite and tried it out. I accidentally entered the wrong url for my thankyou page, so hand-edited it in the html.

Now it doesn't work, and I'm wondering whether there is something under the hood that I don't understand. I verified that the url I ented in the goodurl line is correct.

    Help?

Hi, No, nothing in FormMail would stop this from working. You must have made a mistake somewhere.

    <br><br>

Interesting. I went back to the form, copied in the thankyou.htm url as shown in my browser (while viewing it), updated, downloaded, put it up on my website - still no joy. Are there html restrictions about what can be in a thankyou? I've got a menu engine and a graphic in there.<br><br>BTW, thanks for troubling to shoot me a line on a Friday night!
