    Default "From" in notifications

Can I set the "From " line in the notification message to a fixed user, rather than the email address in the form?

I've set up a test form using your wizard, but the from line is always
"From: CGI-Mailer <cgi-mailer@kundenserver.de>" - Can I get round this, or is it a feature of my server?

    Default Re: "From" in notifications

    Hi,

Normally, FormMail sets this to the user who filled in the form. It uses the "email" field for this purpose.

If that's not happening, it could be because your server won't allow the change.

If you want a fixed From address, use the "FromAddr" feature of "mail_options":Again, this will only work if the server allows it.
