Unknown Message Number 27 was used

Hi,

Great script!

I have the form working beautifully and the database is being written to. The e-mails are goings to the recipients and the error sending is also working.

However, there is one snag - Even though I am receiving the e-mails and the the database content, I am receiving an extra e-mail from "FormMail@www.domain.com" with the message:

"Unknown Message Number 27 was used".

Can you tell me what this message means and how I resolve it?

Hi,

Are you using a language pack (such as the German language pack)?

Basically it means that message number 27 has no definition.

There are only two ways this can happen:

1. a file called "language.inc" is in the same directory as formmail.php and it's missing the definition of that message
2. you've somehow damaged formmail.php and deleted or undefined message number 27.

Try using the Upgrade Wizard to get a fresh version of FormMail with you existing configuration copied over. That should fix the damage.

Many thanks for your very swift response.

I am not using a language pack so I tried the upgrade wizard.

I upgraded to 7.01 and all seems to be well now.
