Default Is https still needed when using FormMailEncoder/Decoder?

If an email contact form is desired for collecting insurance policy information, does the FormMail Encoder/Decoder provide sufficient security by itself or is it advisable to supplement the FormMail Encoder/Decoder with SSL (https)?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your question.

You need SSL (HTTPS) to protect the channel from the user's browser to your server.

You then need FormMailDecoder to protect the channel from your server to your email inbox.

    I hope that helps.
