    Default Attachment......

    Hi all again, i thought that it is all ready to implement to my project but i forgot one vital think; maybe some of you will be able to help.
    What i need to do is to attach a PDF files stored on the server to all the checkboxes across my multipage form; so that once send by email, the person submitting the form will not receive the value of the checkbox in a form of the name age group or email for example, but instead they will recieve a Pdf file for each checked box from the form.
    Will i be able to do that using the formmail.php script.
    Thanks

    Hi,

    FormMail doesn't support attachments to autoresponses.

    The best solution is to provide a link in the email that the receiver can use to download the PDF.

    Thank a lot, i thought about this solution but unfortunately someone insist on the PDFs to be fiscally attached to the email
    i cant believe that i got so far and this small requirement will disqualify formmail from this project;
    i am still doing some research, there have to be a way to add a pdf to a checkbox value....
    I will post here the results of my research.
    In the meantime could you look at the code below and tell me if such solution could work?

    <?php foreach($ebooks_filenames_1 as $filename => $download_title) : ?>
    <input type="hidden" value="" name="<?=$filename;?>">
    <input type="checkbox" name="<?=$filename;?>" id="<?=$filename;?>" value="<?=$filename;?>" <?php if($_SESSION[$filename] == $filename) {echo 'checked'; } ?>>
    <label for="<?=$filename;?>"><?=$download_title;?></label><br>
    <?php endforeach; ?>

    Thanks again...

    Hi,

    No, that won't work.

    The problem is that FormMail just doesn't know how to create an autoresponse email with attachments.

    There's not problem doing that with FormMail, someone just has to modify the PHP code to add the feature.

    We can provide a quote for doing that for you.

    If you'd like, please email me with specifications and URLs to the form so I can see how it's been constructed.
