Hi,
IE8 and below are notoriously bad browsers.
We can workaround the problems, I'm sure, but we would have to charge for this work.
The simplest alternative is to remove formval from the form's page and rely solely on server-side validation.

Hi,
I originally posted this in Community Support (http://www.tectite.com/vbforums/show...with-IE7-and-8) but think it is actually a bug so moved it here.I have a client using our form that uses IE8 and the form validation (formval_v7.js) is not working. In testing further on my side we have discovered that the validation doesn't want to work in IE8 or IE7 but does work in other browsers and IE9 on up. The clients company restricts use to IE8 and does not allow them to upgrade. I use this form on my server to have them submit work requests.
No matter what is put in the fields the message comes up stating the field needs filled out.
Has anyone ran into an issue where formval_v7.js is not working with IE7 or IE8? Any ideas how to correct the issue?
All help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Lori
