Smile Can filter only be used with cgi scripts?

Greetings! I want to run a filter on my form using a PHP script. Is it possible to do such a thing, or can I only filter with cgi scripts? If only cgi, is there a workaround so I can use my PHP stuff?

    Thanks in advance!

No, filters can be created using any program or script that your webserver can execute.

FormMail also supports filters that are web URLs.

I've just created a couple of sample filters for you in PHP. You can access them here:

Thank you very much, Russell! I appreciate your quick response.

Because my host doesn't have php in the path, I needed to add the full path to the php part of the command, like this:

    /usr/local/bin/php -f

Hopefully this may help someone else as well. Looking back, I suppose the error "sh: line 1: php: command not found" should have clued me in but I missed it.

You have an awesome product, definitely the best form processing script I've ever used. Thanks again!!
