    Default Need help. First time user...

    I've tried to follow the instructions as best possible but I keep running into two problems....
    1. From the send page of my site, I do receive the email, but it shows up looking like this:

    The following error occurred in FormMail :
    missing_fields
    Error=The form required some values that you did not seem to provide.
    nameYour name
    Your email address
    Location on body
    Best explaination of what you want done

    (Not sure why the text in red keeps appearing)
    path_to_file: 'http://yoursite.net/formmail/formmail.php'
    recipient: 'youremail@mail.com'
    sort: 'order:nameYour name,email:Your email address,location:Location on body,description:Best explaination of what you want done'

    Name: 'LordAbyss'
    Email: 'testmail@mail.com'
    Location: 'test'
    Description: 'test'
    Submit: 'Submit'

    2. I attempted to set up a "redirect" page, or "good_url" but I need help with that as well.
    Here is the result from clicking submit after filling in all fields.

    An error occurred while processing the form .

    The form required some values that you did not seem to provide.
    nameYour name
    Your email address
    Location on body
    Best explaination of what you want done
    Your form submission was processed by (7.05), available from www.tectite.com.

    I am open to any suggestions as I am trying to get my site functional.

    hi,

    first of all, "email" and "realname" are required fields
    your form has to have them, it's a must

    I'm still having no luck. I get the email but keep getting the error stating that the fields are filled in, even though they are. Also that redirect/good_url is driving me crazy. I have to be missing something, but what?

    Sure... I've alread had friend of mine tell me one mistake with the "sort" line and I'm working on fixing that. But here is my form:
    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    body,td,th {
    font-family: BlackChancery;
    font-size: 16px;
    color: #FFFFFF;
    }
    body {
    background-color: #030303;
    }
    .style1 {font-size: 24px}
    .style2 {font-size: 18px; }
    .style3 {font-size: 36px; }
    -->
    </style></head>

    <body>
    <p><a href="New%20Page.htm"><img src="Logo%20-%20%20Logo_01.gif" width="341" height="142" border="0"></a>

    ok

    try (i've only copied the code from <form> to </form>)
    Code:
    <form action="http://www.yoursite.com/formmail/formmail.php" method="post">
    <input type="hidden" name="recipients" value="email@email.com" />
    <input type="hidden" name="good_url" value="http://www.yoursite.com/redirect.htm" />
    <input type="hidden" name="mail_options" value="KeepLines, HTMLTemplate=form.htm" />
    <input type="hidden" name="required" value="realname, email, location, description">
    <input type="hidden" name="env_report" value="REMOTE_HOST, HTTP_USER_AGENT">
    <blockquote>
    <blockquote>
    <blockquote>
    <blockquote>
    <p align="left"><span class="style1"> Name: </span>
    <input name="realname" type="text" id="Name" size="40">
    </p>
    <p align="left">
    <span class="style1">Email:</span>
    <input name="email" type="text" id="Email" size="53">
    </p>
    <p align="left" class="style1">Location of Ink:</p>
    <p align="left">
    <textarea name="location" cols="60" rows="3" id="Location"></textarea>
    </p>
    <p align="left" class="style1">Description of piece: </p>
    <p align="left">
    <textarea name="description" cols="80" rows="15" id="Description"></textarea>
    </p>
    <p align="left">
    <input name="submit" type="submit" value="Submit">
    <input name="reset" type="reset" id="Reset" value="Reset Info">
    </p>
    <p>
    </p>
    </blockquote>
    </blockquote>
    </blockquote>
    </blockquote>
    <br><br><hr>

    </form>
    for the "sort" thing you make the chronological order in your template
    therefore read the following, because you also have to define TEMPLATURL and TEMPLATEDIR in your formmail.php and so on..
    http://tectite.com/fmhowto/plaintmplt.php
    and depending to HTMLTemplate
