    Default Sllooooow :-(

I have newly found this script and love its flexibility.
But sending my first and rather simple form takes almost 30 seconds, which is bad because users will most likely interrupt that.

The server should be fast enough, but the script seems to be waiting for something. I can't see what this might be. I have set it up basically as described in the "Quick Start" tutorial.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Rainer

    not really
    it seems to be ok
(solely: if you want to use the input/required field in your form you have to delete the "!--" and " --", but surely you know )

remembering me right, i've also noticed some delay as i've used it first time on a windows server, but by far not so much as you, just that much to take notice of it. but till yet it's working very well since about a year

Thanks. Too bad then - I don't think 30 seconds are OK.
Otherwise, the script would have been nice.

Yes, sure. I tried to disable as many options as possible.

hm, it really lasts too long, that shouldn't be normal. maybe try to ask your webhost..
or also try to test your server with the formmail sample form without your additional code and so on..
(should it also lasts as long as currently, then the reasen definitely may be your server i think)

I am using the formmail script by lampscripts.net now, much more lightweight, does all that I need, with immediate response.
    Thanks for your help, though.
