Hi Lucas
Does the form work OK when you strip it down to basics - eg removing the good_url & bad_url lines?
Lucy
Welcome to the Tectite Forums! You can download and get support for our free PHP FormMail (form processor) and other free software.
Hi All.
Thanks to anyone taking the time to read this post, sorry the post topic isn't more helpful but it's the best I can do.
Basically I'm redesigning my church's website and forms is my problem area at the moment. Whenever I click on the form's submit button I get directed to the classic IE 'the page cannot be displayed' page, I'm not sure why. I've been experimenting but with little success, (I'm not sure if the form is working, if it is I've probably email bombed my minister!)
The addresses of all the relevant pages are below, feel free to check them out and see what rookie mistake I've made.
Form: http://www.mpbc.org.uk/formprayer_request.asp
Php: http://www.mpbc.org.uk/formmail.php?testalert=1
good_url: http://www.mpbc.org.uk/thankyou_prayer.asp
bad_url: http://www.mpbc.org.uk/error_prayer.asp
Thanks in advance for any help with this.
Lucas.

Hi Lucy,
No it doesn't even with the good_url and bad_url taken out. In fact when I checked today the form is not even sending emails when the submit button it pressed.
Is it possible my server doesn't support Php?
Lucas.
Hello
Try doing these two tests:
Does your server accept PHP?
Does your web server send mail?
detailed in the sticky threads here
http://www.tectite.com/vbforums/forumdisplay.php?f=12
These will help you determine whether php and mail sending is possible
Cheers
Lucy
Thanks for the advice, much appreaciated.
Lucas.
